Mark Cowden

Studio Operations Manager 

 

Mark relocated to Northern Ireland from Seattle where he first got involved in media through the music business.  He has produced and recorded numerous albums and has filmed and documented concerts and tours for a number of major label artists including Finish rock stars "HIM", Roadrunner  Records Recording artists, "36 Crazyfists" and Dublinrockers "Aslan".  

 

Mark has also worked with Action Cancer, documenting fund raising events and has even been seen behind the camera filming Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton on a visit to Belfast.  He is involved in the day to day running of Belfast Local Television where he films and helps oversee the production of various shows, documentaries and on location projects that interact with the people of North Belfast.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nicola Quinn

Editing/Sound Engineer

 

On a weekly basis Nicola assists in all areas within Production, interviewing and recording various artists, such as Aslan, The Bravery, Bronagh Gallagher and 36 Crazyfists. Also Sound Recording and editing of the different variety of programmes and films being made.

 

She has spent the last year developing skills in Video Toaster and other programmes.

 

 

 

James Firth

Editing/Computer/Networking Engineer

 

James edits the various programs for BLTv and maintains the computers and computer networks, he also adds a 3d & 2d design and animation aspect to the programming. Having sold paintings and sculptures in a number of galleries he brings this artistic side to his productions

 

James is proficient in editing and various design software tools as well as a more hardware based role.

 

 

 

Cathy Toal

Editing/Camera

 

Cathy has been with BLTV for a while now. During that time she has trained as an Editor and Camera Operator. Cathy is a local girl and her interests include Music, Concerts and Film. She has been involved in interviewing metal band Trivium and several local bands.

 

 

 

Michelle Wilkinson

Editing/Camera

 

Michelle has been with BLTV for the past few years. She is currently working as an Editor. She is also involved in the stations admin and will generally be the first point of contact for people ringing or emailing the station.

 

Michelle is a local and her interests include current affairs.

 

 

 

Michael Stevenson

Director

 

Michael has been to the forefront in bringing community television to North Belfast and has interviewed over 100 local personalities, clergy and politicians.

 

He is a family man and lives in the local community.

 

 

 

David Pettigrew & Thomas Williams

TV Network Technicians

 

David and Thomas take care of the day to day running of our cabled TV network. Their work ranges from the tuning of TV sets to essential maintainance as needed around the area of Ardoyne. Fine tuning of various Televes headends to picture quality and control.
